It’s that time in our annual trip around the Sun that the Gregorian calendar terminates and we introduce a new year number. In addition to singing Auld Lang Syne and getting completely trashed, a popular New Year’s tradition is making of empty resolutions for the upcoming year. I’ve never been too keen on any of the aforementioned, but here’s a few goals for this upcoming year that I’ve made:
- Rockets. Build more; launch more. This one seems pretty obvious, but it’s worth mentioning anyway. Since most of my designs are from-scratch designs, I would really like to come up with some novel designs that reduce cost, improve performance, and contribute to the overall value of my fleet.
- Increase posting frequency. Maybe I’ll gather a greater following that way. Who knows?
- Start a how-to section. I really enjoy teaching others the tricks to the trade. I’ve also noticed that there aren’t many good tutorials out there, and I’d like to provide some of the ones that are missing. Perhaps one tutorial at the end of every month might be a good start.
I know it’s not a lot, but you have to start somewhere. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year of rocketry!
